Location: William Blount High School Grounds
Time: Opening ceremonies: 9am
Be part of the biggest community event of fun, food and fellowship, sprinkled with a little competition by our Local Law Enforcement and Fire Fighter agencies. They will gather a team of 5-7 from each department. Men or Women are welcome. The stronger the better. The objective; win the coveted “Phoenix” trophy and the title of the greatest agency in east Tennessee.

Attendants are encouraged to wear the color of the team they are cheering for.
RED – Fire Fighters
White – First Responders
Blue – Law Enforcement.
This is a community event with Food Trucks, Local Vendor Booths, Exhibits, and a fun area for the kids, not to mention great competition between local heroes!!
Mission Phoenix has a focus on the local Veteran/Military community and loves to bring the entire community together!
TailGate Time In Tennessee!!
It’s UT vs. Bama! Ain’t no way we’re missing that! After the games cheer on the VOLS as we gather together for Blount County’s biggest tailgate party! We will be inviting our local veteran organizations and the community to come together and bring the food, fun, and festivities that is the spirit of VOL football. We will have a huge inflatable projection screen to watch the game on, we will broadcast the game over speakers from WIVK play by play. There will be a live half time performance by Grey Beard! Also, MP Ribbons for MOST TEAM SPIRIT and BEST TAILGATE SETUP.
All money raised at this event will 100% go to Mission Phoenix and help our local Veteran community with Counseling, resources and opportunity
